Written and composed during a period of personal struggle, “Buried Words” captures the unresolved feelings Cassandra held onto a year after parting ways with her ex-boyfriend. “I didn’t have a way to reach my ex and tell him what I felt, so I made this song to vent it all out,” Cassandra shares. “Who knows? Maybe, one day, somehow, this song will reach him.”
Born in Italy and now based in London, Cassandra Baratto has been immersed in music since 2003, beginning her vocal training under Morena Garbin. Over the years, she has performed with various bands in Italy, earning multiple awards at music festivals and recording an album with her primary band. In 2014, she relocated to London to pursue her musical ambitions, culminating in the release of “Buried Words” a decade later.
