Cambridge indie rock band Tiny Vessels brings dreamy synths, fast-paced drums and bold guitar riffs on their single, “Torn” The track showcases the band’s energetic sound, balancing atmospheric textures with a punchy instrumental arrangement that gives their indie rock style its distinctive edge.
Recorded, produced and mixed by Mike Duce of Lower Than Atlantis, “Torn” marks the band’s second collaboration with the producer. Their previous work together was “Know That You Are Home,” released in 2025. Formed in 2023, Tiny Vessels drew the inspiration from guitar-driven bands that emerged throughout the 2010s and beyond. Their sound combines the hazy atmosphere of synths with driving percussion and expansive guitar work, creating a blend that feels both melodic and full of momentum.
With “Torn,” the band lean into the contrast between dreamy soundscapes and forceful instrumentation. The synths add atmosphere, while the fast-moving drums and prominent guitar riffs keep the track lively and direct. The result highlights Tiny Vessels’ ability to combined layered textures with the urgency of guitar-led indie rock.
Based in Cambridge, Tiny Vessels continued to build their identity through music that draws on modern indie rock while maintaining a strong emphasis on energy and melody.
