Lizzo Unveils New Single “Bitch” from Forthcoming Album

GRAMMY® and Emmy Award-winning global superstar Lizzo has unveiled the bold title track from her forthcoming album, Bitch, offering fans an exciting first taste of her next musical chapter ahead of its official release on June 5.

Accompanying the release is a striking new visual directed by child, featuring Lizzo and her entourage reimagined as circus performers. The video brings a theatrical and high-energy aesthetic to the track, further amplifying its larger-than-life presence.

Produced by longtime collaborators Ricky Reed, Blake Slatkin, and Zack Sekoff, the track also interpolates Bitch by Meredith Brooks. It continues Lizzo’s tradition of blending bold lyricism with infectious production, building on the cultural impact she first cemented with her Diamond-selling hit Truth Hurts.

The release follows last month’s drop of Don’t Make Me Love U, another standout from the upcoming album. That single introduced this new era with a powerful visual narrative, portraying Lizzo confronting her past self in a journey of reflection, growth, and self-evolution.

Beyond the studio, Lizzo has been commanding stages worldwide. She recently completed a fully sold-out 12-show run at Blue Note Jazz Club locations in Los Angeles and New York, earning praise for her musicianship and stage presence. She also delivered a standout performance at the Houston Rodeo, playing to a crowd of over 70,000 fans.

Expanding her creative reach even further, Lizzo is set to release her debut children’s book, Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B. Flootin’, on September 8, 2026 via Simon & Schuster. The story follows a young girl’s journey of self-discovery alongside a spirited flute companion. Additionally, she will star as pioneering gospel and rock ‘n’ roll icon Sister Rosetta Tharpe in the upcoming film Rosetta from Amazon MGM Studios.

A four-time GRAMMY® winner, Lizzo has left an undeniable mark on global pop culture, earning multiple chart-topping hits, including “Truth Hurts” and About Damn Time, which made history as a Record of the Year winner. From music and television to fashion and film, she continues to redefine what it means to be a modern multi-hyphenate artist.

With the release of “Bitch,” Lizzo sets the tone for what promises to be one of the most talked-about albums of 2026, reaffirming her status as a fearless creative force shaping the sound and conversation of contemporary pop.
