RM: Your debut single, ‘Peter Pan (feat. Liilz),’ gained significant attention. How did it feel to experience such rapid success early in your career?

Prinz: I was really good because as an upcoming artist, you’re always waiting for that moment the public start to really connect with your work – and this track was that moment!

RM: Your music has been described as relatable and has drawn comparisons to artists like KSI. How do you ensure that your content remains authentic while still resonating with a wide audience?

Prinz: KSI is a boss! I’ve been watching him from super young. He’s one of my heroes so when I hear about the comparison with me it’s a good feeling. My main thing is definately the music though (aside from the content creation) it’s what I want to be known most for.

RM: Your track ‘Highs & Lows’ spent 9 weeks in the Official Charts. What do you think contributed to its success, and how did it feel to see your music climbing the charts?

Prinz: It was a slow start but when it started connecting it just exploded! I’m lucky enough to still have new supporters coming across it because clips are still going around the internet. Being in the charts is what I aim for, it’s nice to know that everyone in the big buildings get excited when that level of success happens on a track.

RM: Your latest release, ‘Life Story,’ is said to be your most intimate and heartfelt track to date. Can you share a bit about the inspiration behind the song and what it means to you personally?

Prinz: Life Story‘ is my first non-sample release, I’ve been working more with producers and building new tracks from scratch, that way I can be fully part of the creative process. I wanted all my supporters to understand me and my background a little bit more on this release. The deeper lyrical content is a side that I’ll be exploring more in my other releases as well!

RM: With millions of views on TikTok and a rapidly growing fanbase, how important do you think social media platforms are for emerging artists in today’s music industry?

Prinz: SO important that I can’t stress it enough! If you have a crazy charting hit worldwide, then all it takes is to stop posting and everything goes left in today’s music scene. I know that some artists don’t like to do it so much, but posting on social media is key to a bright future for me and other artists like me, across all genres.

RM: As an artist, how do you balance the pressures of consistently delivering hit songs while staying true to your artistic vision?

Prinz: It’s not a massive pressure for me. In the past I’ve had songs that have done near enough no plays, but this all changed once I started making songs that I truly like, so I aim to carry on that ethos – and if people like them then great! If not then I still like them, which is more important to me personally.

RM: Can you tell us about your creative process? How do you approach songwriting and finding the right balance between melody and lyrics in your music?

Prinz: I have my own home set up that’s how I’ve managed to get the majority of my music recorded, and because it’s at home I have all the time in the world to get it just right. I do go the studio more often now and work with different producers but I still prefer just being at home in my own zone experimenting.

RM: You’ve collaborated with various artists and producers throughout your career. How do these collaborations enhance your music, and what do you look for in a collaborative partner?

Prinz: I always like to learn, which is the main reason I go studio outside of my home – when collaborating with others in the studio, you always pick up a gem or two! With collaboration I’m very open to other people’s styles, so anyone that has something cool to bring to the table then I’m happy to get them involved .

RM: Looking ahead, what are your goals and aspirations as an artist? Are there any upcoming projects or collaborations that you’re excited about?

Prinz: I have a project I’m putting together right now with my team. So far I’ve been focused on dropping singles and videos but I think it’s time for a full project at some point this year, so watch out!

RM: Finally, what message or feeling do you hope listeners take away from your music? Is there a particular impact or connection you strive to create with your audience?

Prinz: I just want everyone to know that if you see me in person then come say hi! A lot of artists don’t seem so approachable but me on the other hand like conversations! There’s been many times where a supporter has asked for a picture and I’ve ended up getting into a whole long conversation!
