Jetstream 20/20 Bring Their Independent Rock Spirit to “Mad Dog”

Built on an independent approach to making music, Jetstream 20/20 continued to develop their alternative rock identity with “Mad Dog,” released in April 2026.

The four-piece band from Cumbria, northwest England, draws on alternative, indie, punk and rock influences, carrying its original music forward through self-produced recordings and a hands-on creative process.

Formed during the 2020 lockdown, Jetstream 20/20 developed a recording process centred on their home studios, using cloud-sharing technology to collaborate. The band also produced its own music videos, maintaining creative control over both its recordings and visual presentation.

The group first gained attention with their debut release, “Walking Dead,” which featured on BBC Radio Cumbria’s Introducing programme. Further singles followed, leading to the release of its debut album, First World Problem, and an accompanying UK promotional tour.

Live performances at local venues and festivals, including HMV stores and The Brickyard in Carlisle, helped the band build its presence on the independent music circuit.

With “Mad Dog,” Jetstream 20/20 added another release to a catalogue shaped by independent production, original songwriting and a sustained commitment to making music on their own terms.
