50 Cent Vows to Practice Abstinence in 2024

Rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent recently announced on Instagram that he will be practicing abstinence in 2024. In a post promoting his champagne and cognac brands, he shared his New Year resolution with his fans, stating that his new idea is so big that he doesn’t have time to be distracted. He mentioned that he has been meditating and focusing on his goals and hopes that the new year will help everyone excel to the next level.

While 50 Cent did not reveal the specifics of his idea, he kicked off 2024 on a positive note by taking over Millennium Studios in Louisiana. The Shreveport City Council approved his lease of the facility, granting him complete control starting on New Year’s Day. 50 Cent expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and stated his excitement about building a state-of-the-art production facility. He aims to expand G-Unit Film and Television’s output of premium, diverse content across all media and provide more opportunities for artists, crew members, and job creation within the community.

The lease agreement for the facility spans 30 years, with 50 Cent paying only $2,400 per year in rent. This arrangement is expected to relieve the city of approximately $180,000 per year in maintenance and upkeep expenses, according to Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux.

In addition to his studio venture, 50 Cent received positive news last month when STARZ renewed his series “Power Book IV: Force” for a third season. Two other shows he produced, “Power Book II: Ghost” and “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” also secured renewals for their fourth seasons. These shows are spinoffs of the original series “Power,” which concluded its run on STARZ in 2020.
