Drake and 21 Savage have added rising Missouri rapper Sexyy Red as an opener for the remaining 30 dates of their North American “It’s All a Blur Tour.” Sexyy Red expressed gratitude to Drake for the opportunity, inviting fans to witness her performances on Instagram.
The collaboration between Drake and Sexyy Red became public knowledge in July when they met during one of the Brooklyn shows. Drake, sharing a photo of their backstage meeting on Instagram, humorously captioned it, “Just met might my rightful wife @sexyyred.”
Sexyy Red has garnered attention in the hip-hop community, particularly after collaborating with R&B artist Summer Walker on “Sense dat God gave you” in November 2022. Her breakthrough single, “Pound Town,” released in January, marked her entry into the Billboard Hot 100.
The rapper’s success continued with the release of her debut commercial mixtape, “Hood Hottest Princess,” in June. The mixtape featured hits like “SkeeYee” and a remix of “Pound Town” with Nicki Minaj.
