After performing at the 2025 NAMM Show for Warm Audio, LA-based artist Lyric Jones has released her first single of the year, “In Due Time,” available on major streaming platforms as of February 28, 2025. Initially written with different backing, the song was set aside for nearly two years.
With producer Ian Wallace’s assistance, Lyric brought the track closer to completion. A guest verse from UHMEER finalized the project. Lyric explains, “Originally, the song was just a demo featuring my rap verse. I later revised the lyrics to match Ian’s new production ideas, and we completed it during Zoom sessions. The real breakthrough happened after I met UHMEER at DJ Jazzy Jeff’s PLAYLIST retreat last year. Although I was already familiar with UHMEER’s incredible work, meeting him in person and reconnecting with Ian was pivotal. The rest is history.”
