Singer-songwriter Faye Webster has exciting news for her fans: her new album, titled “Underdressed at the Symphony,” is set to be released on March 1 via Secretly Canadian. The album features a collaboration with rapper Lil Yachty on the lead single, “Lego Ring.” The music video for the song showcases Webster and Lil Yachty playing a video game called Singsongrama, created by Kyle Ng of Brain Dead Studios.
Faye Webster and Lil Yachty have a history that dates back to their middle school days as close friends in Atlanta. Although they grew apart over time, they remained connected enough for Webster to photograph Lil Yachty in 2016. Webster’s unique approach to photography, where she lets portrait ideas come to her naturally, resulted in a memorable shoot with Lil Yachty, involving cutting down tropical plants from people’s front yards and painting them red.
