Berlin-based music innovators KITSCHKRIEG join forces with London-born singer-songwriter Dré Six to release ‘Bestie’, the third single from the upcoming collaborative album, ‘London’s Calling’. KITSCHKRIEG and Dré Six are known for their minimalist aesthetic and signature black-and-white visuals, a style that carries through to the previous releases, ‘Mad About You’ and ‘London’s Calling’ featuring 163Margs. ‘Bestie’ sees Dré Six as introspective and vulnerable, displaying his feelings and opening up about a love interest. Taken from the highly anticipated 11-track album set to drop April 23rd, ‘London’s Calling’ is a genre-blurring masterpiece that fuses Rap, Trap, Drill, R&B, Drum & Bass, and Reggae.
Boasting an impressive lineup of UK rap heavyweights, including Unknown T, Morrison, and 163Margs, ‘London’s Calling’ promises to be a standout moment in both artists’ careers. KITSCHKRIEG first connected with Dré Six at a writing camp, instantly drawn to his distinctive sound and raw storytelling. Recognising his ability to craft authentic narratives, they invited him to Germany to collaborate, providing a creative space where vulnerability could take center stage. Known for his introspective approach to R&B and signature acoustic, guitar-driven sound, Dré Six has earned the nickname ‘Trap Sheeran.’ This album marks a bold sonic evolution, showcasing his versatility as he ventures into new styles and genres. Though born in Germany, ‘London’s Calling’ pulses with the energy and soul of the UK capital.

Dré Six has been steadily carving his lane with his raw, uncompromising lyricism that reflects the complexities of inner-city life, his storytelling and tender vocal delivery have earned him praise from Skepta, Complex, and COLORS. His debut EP, ‘Trap Blues’, was a striking mix of UK Rap, Drill, and Trap infused with Indie Blues—an introspective body of work that vividly depicts his journey. The project featured the breakout single ‘Light & Dark’, which has surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify. Dré’s distinct sound has already led to major career milestones, including a COLORS performance, a collaboration with UK grime pioneer and artist Skepta, and a feature on Brit-nominated rapper K-Trap’s acclaimed album ‘Smile?’.
Since their formation in 2014, KITSCHKRIEG have redefined Germany’s sonic and visual landscape, drawing inspiration from Berlin’s electronic music scene and Soundsystem culture. With over 1.6 billion streams to their name, their success at home has paved the way for international recognition as they continue to push creative boundaries and collaborate with some of the most respected names in underground music. KITSCHKRIEG’s recent projects, ‘German Engineering 1’ and ‘German Engineering Zwei’, showcased a masterful blend of UK and US Rap, Garage, and Hip-Hop, seamlessly fusing new-school energy with old-school influences. KITSCHKRIEG have been making waves in both the UK and US underground scenes, collaborating with the likes of Nemzzz, ARZ, SwitchOTR, Stefflon Don, and SL in the UK, as well as Future and Mariah The Scientist across the pond. These releases earned widespread acclaim, with support from BBC 1Xtra’s Sian Anderson and DJ Target, Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Clash Magazine, COLORS, Wonderland, Notion, and GRM Daily.
Whilst KITSCHKRIEG continue to solidify their reputation as tastemakers with ‘London’s Calling’, the forthcoming collaborative album with Dré Six further proves their ability to connect with some of the most in-demand UK talents, crafting a fresh body of work that bridges scenes and genres. With ‘London’s Calling’, KITSCHKRIEG and Dré Six have created something special: a bold, boundary-pushing album that captures the essence of Berlin and London in one compelling project.
