Latto Enters a Bold New Era With 4th Studio Album Big Mama

Three-time Grammy-nominated Atlanta rap superstar Latto officially steps into a transformative new chapter with the release of her highly anticipated fourth studio album Big Mama, available now on all streaming platforms alongside exclusive vinyl and CD editions.

Spanning 18 tracks, Big Mama arrives as Latto’s most personal and defining body of work to date. Created during a life-changing period where she transitioned into motherhood for the first time, the album captures an artist balancing vulnerability, growth, confidence, and power while continuing to evolve creatively. Latto revealed that she discovered she was pregnant while making the project, a moment that shaped both the emotional depth and perspective woven throughout the record.

Rooted firmly in Atlanta culture, Big Mama showcases Latto’s unmistakable energy, razor-sharp bars, and commanding presence while embracing a broader emotional range than ever before. The project also features an all-star lineup of collaborators, including Teyana Taylor, Doja Cat, Wizkid, Sexyy Red, and more, blending rap, R&B, Afrobeats, and contemporary hip-hop influences into a dynamic and genre-fluid listening experience.

The release follows a historic run for the Atlanta rapper. In 2024, Latto made history with her third studio album Sugar Honey Iced Tea, becoming the first solo female rapper from Atlanta to secure a number one album on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart. The project also debuted inside the top 15 of the Billboard 200, making Latto only the second female rapper in 2024 to achieve both a number one rap album debut and a top 15 Billboard 200 debut.

That momentum carried into her first-ever North American headlining Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour, where she performed alongside special guests Mariah The Scientist and Karrahbooo, further solidifying her status as one of hip-hop’s most commanding live performers.

With over 6.2 billion global streams across platforms, Latto continues to build on a career defined by milestone moments and cultural impact. Since signing to RCA Records in 2020, the Clayton County native has consistently pushed boundaries through acclaimed projects including Queen of Da Souf, 777, and Sugar Honey Iced Tea, while also becoming the first female rapper to achieve a number one single across Pop, Rhythm, and Urban Radio simultaneously with her breakout smash “Big Energy.”

Beyond music, Latto’s influence stretches into fashion, culture, and philanthropy. She has attended New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks, appeared on the covers of Billboard, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan and Ebony, and continues to support communities through her Win Some Give Some foundation, including her annual “Christmas In Clayco” initiative for families in need.

Recognised by Forbes’ “30 Under 30” and Ebony’s Power 100, Latto enters the Big Mama era with complete confidence and creative clarity. The album not only reflects her evolution as an artist and woman, but also reinforces her position as one of the defining voices of modern hip-hop.

With Big Mama, Latto delivers a bold statement of growth, ambition, and self-possession — proving once again why she remains one of rap’s most unstoppable forces.
