JRNXLST Releases Bold New Single “HALO”

Ecuadorian-born, Brooklyn-raised artist JRNXLST (Christian A. Guerrero) returns with HALO, a daring single that confronts toxic relationships, guilt, codependency, and the deeper responsibilities we carry toward each other when the world feels like it’s on fire.

Formerly the frontman of Bedlight for Blue Eyes, Guerrero has shared stages with iconic acts including Paramore, Senses Fail, New Found Glory, A Static Lullaby, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids. Now, as JRNXLST, he channels his experience into music that is honest, visceral, and unflinchingly human.

“HALO” begins with infectious indie rock and indie pop energy — melodic, danceable, and razor-wired with tension — before pivoting into a darker, techno-infused climax. Midway, Guerrero switches fully into Spanish, honoring his Ecuadorian roots and Brooklyn upbringing. The song’s haunting second half was inspired by a photograph of a malnourished child in Gaza, pushing the track beyond personal confession into social confrontation.

Sonically, “HALO” fuses indie-rock swagger, metal-tinged guitar hooks, and electronic textures with soaring vocals that don’t shy away from bleeding emotion. At its core, the track asks the difficult question: Do you think you’re wearing a halo?

Beyond the music, JRNXLST cultivates a vibrant community of fans through social platforms and Discord, championing connection with his mantra: You don’t have to be blood to be family.
