British singer-songwriter RAYE took home the Video of the Year award at the 2026 MOBO Awards for her striking track “Where Is My Husband!”, directed by The Reids.
The win was announced by the official MOBO Awards account on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday evening, highlighting the video’s “visuals, storytelling, impact ”. The category, presented in association with Vevo UK, recognises outstanding music videos that push creative boundaries in Black music and culture.
In a pre-recorded message played at the ceremony, RAYE — who was on the North American leg of her world tour — expressed her gratitude: “Thank you for this award. And I want to say happy 30th anniversary to the MOBOs. I’m very grateful for this recognition.” She added, “Lots of love, have a lovely night!”
The award-winning video for “Where Is My Husband!” has been praised for its cinematic quality and emotional depth, adding to RAYE’s reputation for delivering bold, narrative-driven visuals. The single has already made waves, with RAYE delivering a memorable live performance of the track at the 2026 BRIT Awards earlier this year.
This victory marks a significant moment for the Croydon-born artist, who continues to build on her international success and critical acclaim following the release of her sophomore album This Music May Contain Hope.
The MOBO Awards continue to serve as a major platform for championing Black British music and culture. The 2026 ceremony was hosted by comedian Eddie Kadi and hip-hop icon Eve, with the event livestreamed via Amazon Music and broadcast on BBC platforms.
Congratulations to RAYE on this well-deserved recognition for her creative excellence in music video storytelling.
