Reflecting on the meaning of “Arabambi,” Oxlade shared that it signifies “the child of the people,” “the community gave birth to this child,” and “the one.” Additionally, it serves as the nickname of K1 De Ultimate, an iconic Nigerian Fuji musician. Oxlade drew inspiration from the American singer Miguel and his vocal style, infusing the track with his own braggadocious elements while maintaining its essence as a love song.

The single is accompanied by a scenic music video filmed between St Lucia and Lagos, directed by Montecarlo Dream with visual effects from Creed. The video perfectly encapsulates the intense passion of “Arabambi,” adding a visual dimension to the song’s emotional depth.

Oxlade has firmly established himself as a dominant force in the music industry, with accolades including a double platinum certification for “Ku Lo Sa” in Switzerland, and platinum certifications in Canada, France, and Germany. His hits have topped the charts, and he has collaborated with generational acts like Bob Marley and Whitney Houston. Notably, mega-stars Usher and Wizkid have further validated his exceptional talent by sharing world stages with the singer in Ghana and Paris, respectively.

“Arabambi” continues Oxlade’s astronomical trajectory, building anticipation for his forthcoming album, ‘Oxlade from Africa.’ This incredible song is taken from his debut, slated for release in Autumn of this year.
