MISS USA and Emblem3

MISS USA Shares Debut Single With Pop-rock Band Emblem3

For the first time in its more than 70-year history, Miss USA is releasing an exclusive single to celebrate the talent, beauty, and empowerment of its past, present, and future contestants. The song Miss USA – released today – was written, produced, and performed by Emblem3. The pop-rock band soared to stardom during the 2012 season of the X Factor USA, capturing the hearts of the four judges, including Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato, who unanimously praised their stellar performance with four resounding ‘yes’ votes.

The Miss USA single is now available on all streaming platforms https://vyd.co/Missusa. This news follows the March 22 release of a song honoring Miss Teen USA, which is now available on streaming platforms. The theme songs will establish the ambiance for the August 4 pageants in Los Angeles, where the 2024 Miss USA and 2024 Miss Teen USA will be crowned.

“Miss USA is an electrifying blend of 80s rock and modern pop,” said Christopher Brown, CEO of Break Records, the record label under which the USA song falls. “Dive into Summer with the perfect poolside song, or strut down the streets of Hollywood or NYC on a night out feeling like a true American icon.”

According to Laylah Rose, President and CEO of the Miss USA and Miss Teen Organization, the collaboration to produce the songs is part of a groundbreaking initiative to modernize the pageant experience through music by engaging audiences through a new medium. Rose, who took over ownership of the organization in August 2023, has prioritized updating the brand to embrace diversity, authenticity and individuality to ensure its continued relevance in changing times.

“The release of the Miss USA single is a vibrant celebration of women’s talent, strength, and empowerment, Rose said. “Miss USA symbolizes the grace, intelligence, and leadership that define our pageants. Listening to the new singles brings to mind the legacies of those who have graced the stage through the years. It serves as a lovely homage to the women of the prestigious Miss USA pageant and a testament to the promising future that lies ahead.”

Emblem3, a pop-rock hybrid band hailing from Southern California, consists of brothers Wesley Stromberg and Keaton Stromberg, along with childhood best friend Drew Chadwick. The trio gained prominence in 2012, clinching fourth place on the X Factor USA and subsequently securing a recording deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco Records & Columbia Records. Their debut album, “Nothing to Lose,” soared to No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, while their breakout single, “Chloe (You’re the One I Want),” amassed nearly 500,000 copies in sales in 2013, with its official music video garnering over 18 million views to date. Emblem3 embarked on international tours across Europe and South America and headlined their own North American tour, #Bandlife. Following a hiatus, the trio made a triumphant return with their highly anticipated “Songs From the Couch Vol. 2” released in early 2023.

“Like a crescendo building anticipation, this Friday unveils the anthem of elegance and grace, as the melodies of Miss USA take center stage, echoing beauty, power, and poise,” said Wesley Stromberg, lead singer of Emblem3. “The band is proud to be partnered with the iconic Miss USA and SU Magazine for this epic release!
