Lauryn Hill Postpones “Miseducation” Tour Due to Vocal Strain

Lauryn Hill has announced the postponement of the remaining shows on her tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” due to “serious vocal strain.” The artist shared the news in a detailed statement on Instagram, expressing gratitude to fans for their support throughout the tour.

Hill explained that she had been dealing with vocal strain for the past month, relying on prescribed prednisone to get through each show. However, she emphasized the need for real vocal recovery and the discontinuation of medication to prevent long-term negative effects on her voice and body. As a result, she made the decision to take time off and reschedule most of the remaining shows.

The postponed shows will be rescheduled for early 2024, and Hill mentioned the addition of new cities to the tour, including overseas locations. Despite the postponement, Hill and the Fugees will proceed with their show in Philadelphia over the weekend.

In her statement, Hill expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the tour and assured fans that they are looking forward to resuming the celebration of the album’s anniversary in the coming year.
