East London’s rising star JADA is back with her second single of the year, “KO”, an electrifying fusion of New Wave R&B, Hip Hop, and Alt-R&B. Co-produced by Perry and Grammy-winning Venna, the track showcases JADA’s distinctive, futuristic vocal style, layering intensity with a dreamy, floaty vibe. Following the success of her debut single “Magic,” which gained support from tastemakers like Victoria Jane, DJ Ace, COLORS, and Notion, JADA once again proves she’s a force to be reckoned with in the music scene.

Raised in a musical household where Gospel music played a central role, JADA was exposed to performance and songwriting from an early age. She grew up with her mother and uncle frequently singing, and by age five, she was already exploring her creative side through ballet and school performances. This natural talent led her to pursue formal training at Elam Music College, where she formed strong bonds with Venna and JVCK James, creating music with a blend of authenticity and innovation.
JADA’s musical influences range from legends like Jill Scott and Angie Stone to modern icons like Kehlani and SZA. Her gritty yet vibrant sound channels the energy of London’s music scene, with her breakthrough coming through collaborations with JVCK James and Venna on his 2021 EP Venology. She followed up with a standout performance on Venna’s sophomore EP Equinox and toured with him across Europe, solidifying her presence as one of the UK’s most exciting new voices.
JADA’s live performances have also garnered attention, with her showcasing at SXSW in Austin earlier this year as part of DJ Ace’s ‘EverythingRNB’ event, where she shared the stage with UK talents like Tamera, Ayanna, and Etta Bond.
