HZPROD Brings a Message of Freedom, Resilience and Hope to “Dreamer” Featuring Marco Vernice and Siggas

Independent hip-hop producer HZPROD has released “Dreamer,” featuring Marco Vernice and Siggas, the second single from his socially conscious War Torn project.

HZPROD is an independent hip-hop producer recognized for a sound built around dark cinematic production, boom-bap influences, and socially conscious storytelling. Through the War Torn project, HZPROD combines atmospheric soundscapes with humanitarian themes, using music to explore conflict, inequality, resilience, and the shared human experience.

The track combines cinematic hip-hop production with powerful storytelling to highlight the realities of children and communities affected by war and humanitarian crises.

Following the first release from the campaign, “Dreamer” continues HZPROD’s mission to use music to raise awareness about conflict, inequality, and human suffering while encouraging listeners to hold on to hope for a better future.

The single’s artwork captures its central message through a striking contrast between destruction and innocence.

A burning cityscape is set against children’s chalk drawings depicting peace, family, and imagination, symbolizing the fragile hope that survives even in the darkest circumstances.

“Dreamer” addresses humanitarian concerns across different regions, bringing together reflections on conflict, exploitation, identity, and social injustice.
Marco Vernice opens the track with a compelling verse referencing Sudan, Gaza, and the exploitation of natural resources.

His lyrics frame the song as a call for awareness and action, challenging listeners to confront the human cost of violence, inequality, and systemic exploitation. Describing the record as “a war cry from the masses,” his contribution gives the song an urgent and confrontational tone.

Siggas follows with an introspective verse exploring colonial legacies, economic inequality, incarceration, human trafficking, and struggles surrounding identity and cultural perception.

He expands the song’s message beyond individual conflicts, drawing attention to broader systems of oppression and the challenges faced by vulnerable communities worldwide.

Contrasting with the intensity of the verses, the uplifting chorus offers a melodic message of resilience and optimism. The recurring refrain, “Dream baby… freedom coming soon,” reinforces the belief that imagination, unity, and hope can endure even in times of suffering.

“Dreamer” is the second official release from War Torn, an independent, producer-led campaign created by HZPROD. Blending cinematic hip-hop with socially conscious storytelling, the project seeks to highlight the experiences of communities affected by war while promoting compassion, resilience, and collective responsibility.

Rather than focusing solely on the devastation caused by conflict, War Torn aims to explore the emotional and human dimensions of humanitarian crises. Each release contributes to a broader narrative that moves from conflict and reflection toward hope and the possibility of change.

Through this approach, HZPROD hopes to build a body of work that resonates with listeners while serving as an ongoing platform for humanitarian awareness.

Musically, “Dreamer” combines a dark cinematic atmosphere with emotional melodic elements and a boom-bap-inspired rhythmic foundation. Modern sonic textures and film-score-influenced sound design create a dramatic backdrop for the contrasting lyrical performances.
The production balances the weight of the song’s subject matter with the uplifting energy of its chorus.

This contrast mirrors the central theme of War Torn: acknowledging the realities of suffering without abandoning the possibility of a better future.
