Singer-songwriter Hunter Blair Ambrose has captivated listeners with her latest release, “NEXT TO ME,” a synth-pop love song that seamlessly blends elements of a mid-tempo banger and a power ballad. Co-written by longtime collaborator and producer Jason Strong in the fall of 2022, the track serves as a heartfelt confession of love and devotion to a somewhat unsuspecting love interest. It explores the decision to surrender to the experience of falling in love and the desire to have someone by your side through life’s ups and downs.
Known for her powerfully distinctive vocals, vast range, and tight melisma-flourished delivery, Hunter Blair Ambrose has made a name for herself in the music industry. Following her acceptance into Berklee College of Music in Boston, Hunter continued to develop her craft, performing extensively throughout the New England nightclub circuit and writing her own original material. It was during this time that she connected with fellow Berklee alumni, producers Jason Strong and Jannek Zechner, who became integral in shaping her solo artist career. Together, they wrote, produced, and recorded her first official works, including the EP “Scorpio Rising” (2020) and her debut album “Scorpio Season” (2021), both of which received critical acclaim.
Hunter Blair Ambrose’s music has taken her across the United States, with notable performances at New York Fashion Week, The Rainforest Fund Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall, and Breaking Sound Los Angeles, among others. As she prepares for a new chapter in her career, Hunter is gearing up to release new singles and music videos in 2024, further solidifying her place as a rising star in the industry.
