Perth-based indie pop artist Charli Rose brings a fresh burst of energy with her new single “Shots Fired,” a fun and upbeat track that explores the messy reality of mixed signals, late-night emotions, and the people who only seem to appear when the moment suits them.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the release, Charli explains that she wanted to create something different from her previous emotional ballads. “Shots Fired” explores how feelings can become amplified in certain situations, especially when alcohol lowers barriers and turns unspoken thoughts into unexpected conversations.
At just 18 years old, Charli Rose has already built an impressive foundation as a singer-songwriter. Writing songs since the age of 11, she has developed a reputation for creating emotionally driven music that connects through personal experiences and meaningful messages.
Her growing list of achievements includes winning WA Junior Country Artist of the Year in both 2023 and 2024, becoming a Top 5 finalist in the WAM Song of the Year competition for “Mirrors” in 2023 and returning as a finalist in 2025 for “The Last Fairy” in the 15-18 youth category. Her songwriting has also received international recognition through semi-finalist placements in the International Songwriting Competition and Unsigned Only Music Competition.
