Hip-hop and R&B powerhouses Kendrick Lamar and SZA have unveiled the official music video for their chart-topping collaboration “Luther”, just days before launching their massive Grand National Tour.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Karena Evans (Drake’s “God’s Plan”, “In My Feelings”), the minimalist visual captures both artists in raw, introspective moments as the soulful track plays. The video concludes with the original recording of Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn’s “If This World Were Mine” – the classic sampled throughout the song.
The release comes as “Luther” dominates the Billboard Hot 100 for its seventh consecutive week at #1, holding strong against competition including Drake’s “Nokia” at #3.
Fans can now experience the visual ahead of Lamar and SZA’s 39-date Grand National Tour, kicking off April 19 in Minneapolis and spanning North America and Europe through August 9. Major stops include:
• MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ) – May 8 & 9
• SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, CA) – May 24
• Finale at Friends Arena (Stockholm) – August 9
