As part of their Tilt Treasures series, Tilt – a live marketplace app that’s redefining the e-commerce experience for Gen Z, have teamed up with Baller League UK and Olaolu Slawn for an exclusive live auction. This innovative event is set to take place on the 10th of June at 7PM, in the buildup to the Baller League UK final on the 12th. Since its arrival this year Baller League UK has made an impact on the way we consume the world’s most ubiquitous sport. A mix of football legends and characters both on and off the pitch from Maya Jama and Dave to Ian Wright and Alisha Lehmann, coupled with high drama and professional quality has made the league an undeniable part of the football calendar. Tilt Treasures sees Tilt and Baller League join forces to auction exclusive shirts, including from Clint419’s side FC RTW. Those bidding via the Tilt app will also be involved in giveaways and the chance to win a jersey signed by Olaolu Slawn. Each shirt available will have a one in five chance to have been signed by the artist.
From becoming the youngest artist to design the Brit Award in 2023, to his work with musical icons including Skepta, Beyonce, and SZA, Slawn has set standards for aesthetics and design since his arrival into the art space. His work was also featured across the Emirates FA Cup final this year, demonstrating his talent on one of the most prestigious days in the sporting calendar. Tilt was founded by Abhi Thanendran and Neil Shah after starting at Revolut, with the pair moving from fintech to fashion seamlessly, creating an immersive experience akin to shopping at a physical store.
This bespoke in-app shopping experience goes hand in hand with their desire to become a luxury marketplace, showcasing multiple brands across streetwear and high fashion with every item individually sourced and checked. Their partnership with Baller League UK demonstrates two brands that offer innovation and an alternative experience to the norm, with Tilt Treasures set to continue this shift from convention.
