Copenhagen-based Norwegian artist Øyunn (Siv Øyunn Kjenstad) kicks off a bold new chapter with the release of her electrifying new single “New Life”, the first taste of her forthcoming debut studio album I Know U Can Do It, out October 31st via Midnight Confessions.

Behind the name Øyunn is drummer, producer, and vocalist Siv Øyunn Kjenstad, a versatile force who has built a reputation across genres. Her 2023 live album Aspects — born out of a performance created for Ultima Festival — earned her the title of New Jazz Name of the Year at the Danish Music Awards. She is also widely recognized as the touring drummer for Danish indie icons Efterklang, as well as having collaborated with Bugge Wesseltoft, Nils Frahm, and Guldimund.
