Dubai-based producer O.G. FM is back — and he’s not easing into anything. His new single “Trust Me” arrives like a neon wave built specifically for massive crowds, towering sound systems, and anybody who loves their electronic music with a splash of emotion and a ton of forward momentum.
Blending future bass and futurepop, the track hits that sweet spot between punchy and euphoric. The lead synth practically commands you to move, while the layered vocal hooks and subtle chillwave textures give it this dreamy, festival-at-sunset vibe. According to his own Bassline Ballistics Records, the song was crafted as “a euphoric journey built for the biggest festival stages,” and honestly, that’s exactly what it sounds like — a big, bright, feel-good burst of electronic energy.
O.G. FM describes the track as a milestone moment: “This is just the beginning of a new chapter for me… Stay tuned for what’s next.”
And if you know anything about his creative process, that statement hits different. He comes from a classical music background — but he insists he isn’t a “professional musician.” Instead, he treats instruments like portals into new sonic experiments. Bass, keys, guitar, brass alto, even an Irish tin whistle and a collection of jaw harps from around the world — nothing is off-limits in his Dubai studio.
After nearly 20 years away from public releases, the pandemic reignited his spark. Since then, he’s dropped more than 50 tracks under O.G. FM and his previous alias, Crazy Owl. His influences range from Onyx, Bob Marley, Aphrodite, Skrillex, Cypress Hill, and Knife Party. You can hear all those worlds connecting in “Trust Me,” but filtered through his own futuristic, emotion-forward style.
