Fresh off a sold-out UK tour with fellow trailblazer WeWantWraiths — alongside a standout performance at Tokyo’s renowned Pop Yours Festival — Nino Uptown kicked off the year with the release of his highly anticipated EP, No One’s Perfect.
The EP followed December’s release of “Tints,” featuring WeWantWraiths, which debuted at No. 10 on the YouTube Music Charts and quickly surpassed 320,000 views. With No One’s Perfect, Nino Uptown delivers what many will consider his most refined and expansive body of work to date. Across 10 tracks, he embraces experimentation through daring sonics, cinematic visuals, and sharp penmanship — offering a deeper look into his world while challenging conventional modes of expression.
Rooted in his signature trapwave sound, the project features collaborations with Born Trappy on “Time Is Money,” WeWantWraiths on “Tints,” and rising newcomer Damzzz on “Pink Lies.” Throughout the EP, Nino navigates sexy drill, alternative underground, rap, and melodic influences, creating a soundscape that reflects both artistic growth and emotional honesty. While his previous UNDERRATED EP solidified his trapwave identity, No One’s Perfect pushes that foundation further, both sonically and visually, with scenes shot across Portugal and Japan — notably in the cinematic “Need For Speed.”
Speaking on the project, Nino Uptown shared: “From start to finish, I have no doubts that my people will like this one. From the pain talk to the grind-mode type songs, this EP has everything. It’s ironic that the project is called ‘No One’s Perfect’ when I can say I tried my best to make this one perfect.”
He added that the EP was shaped over a 12-month period, drawing inspiration from life experiences and people close to him — particularly his brother, who introduced him to music that influenced the project’s direction.
Born and raised in London, Nino Uptown has shared stages with M Huncho, Nafe Smallz, and WeWantWraiths, while earning recognition as one of Complex UK’s “24 Rappers to Watch.” With charting singles like “Lose Me” and “Who Said Goons Don’t Cry,” sold-out international shows, and growing global recognition, No One’s Perfect marks another major milestone in his evolving journey.
