Good Time Locomotive is back with their groove-laden new disco-rock anthem ‘Daylight’ as they look to push on with their distinctive creative vibrance. Teaming up with Grammy Award-winning producer Adrian Bushby (Muse, Foo Fighters, U2), the band looks to make waves for Summer 2025.
Blending full-on rock funk and self-searching emotive lyricism with their signature feel-good grooves, ‘Daylight’ is a bombastic, floor-filling anthem. Synthesizing nostalgic 80’s synth disco vibes, before collating its energies into an entrancing rock out and a guitar solo, enough to make Eddie Van Halen rise from the dead…
Speaking about the new single, frontman Hugo Leite says, “‘Daylight’ is all about getting caught up in the moment and then waking up to reality. It’s that sudden switch from feeling everything in that moment to waking up and questioning what any of it meant.”
Good Time Locomotive is an alternative pop-rock band hailing from London, UK. Since officially debuting in 2023, they have infused their funky pop songwriting style with a feel-good flourish and positive messaging to build an exciting sound. Writing their earliest material via Zoom in the days of the first COVID lockdown, the group quickly came out of quarantine and into the studio before releasing the single ‘Lines of Symmetry’ in the Spring. Since then, the band has grown a healthy following on streaming services and continues to turn heads with their dynamic, feel-good live shows. The band went on to release their debut EP in 2024 and are showing no signs of slowing down with new music on the horizon.
