Earl Sweatshirt Releases New Album ‘Live Laugh Love’

Earl Sweatshirt has released his highly anticipated new album Live Laugh Love (LLL), out now via Warner Records and Tan Cressida. Announced only last week, the project unveils a side of Earl fans have never seen before, marking a striking evolution from the introspection of albums like I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside. Alongside the album, Earl shares the music video for “Tourmaline,” a tender, romantic track that stands apart as one of the most unique songs in his catalogue.

Expanding the world of the album, Earl also launches a one-of-a-kind capsule collection inspired by Live Laugh Love. The line features items for the whole family, including onesies, a baby bib, a blanket, a puzzle, incense burner, and tees for both children and adults.

For more than a decade, Earl Sweatshirt has captivated audiences with his vivid storytelling, vulnerability, and lyrical mastery. Emerging at just 16 as part of the boundary-breaking Odd Future collective, he quickly carved out his own lane with dense introspection and a singular voice in hip-hop. With projects like Doris, Some Rap Songs, Sick!, and his collaborative work with The Alchemist (Voir Dire), Earl has continuously redefined what rap can be—raw, poetic, and deeply human.

Live Laugh Love continues this trajectory, blending surrealism and grounded reflection in a meditation on chaos, joy, and growth. Initially conceived as satire, the album’s title grew into a genuine exploration of nostalgia, connection, and the balance between the sacred and the routine. Tracks like “Tourmaline,” “Gamma (need the Love),” “INFATUATION,” and “CRISCO” capture Earl’s sharp lyricism while reflecting his life as an artist, father, and seeker navigating contradictions with honesty and humor.

The result is a prophetic, spiritually charged, and celebratory body of work—one that confirms Earl’s steady evolution while affirming his legacy as a defining voice of his generation.
