Cruise Lord announces the release of his debut EP, Song Of Solomon, which arrived on 11th January 2026. Rooted in Afro House and guided by intention rather than trends, the project introduces a body of work that is confident, sensual, and spiritually charged.
Inspired by King Solomon and the devotion expressed in the biblical Song of Solomon, the EP channels admiration for the beauty, presence, and self-assurance of African women. The writing process came instinctively, with vocals flowing naturally whenever the mic was picked up. While the ideas arrived with ease, the project itself was carefully shaped over the course of a year, as songs were added, removed, and refined until the vision felt fully aligned.
Song Of Solomon is about love expressed with clarity and composure. It follows the arc of a man pursuing his love interest with purpose, expressing desire without desperation, and moving with quiet confidence until he wins her over. The tone is controlled and assured, mirroring the rhythms that drive the EP forward.
The recording process reflects Cruise Lord’s creative independence. Most of the project was engineered by the artist himself, except the track “Falling,” which was engineered by producer Big Tunez. All recordings took place at his home studio, Cruise Side, a space that represents his self-sufficiency and is set to grow into a recognised creative hub in its own right.
Cruise Lord crafts smooth, immersive records designed for late nights, dim lights, and confident movement. His sound blends Afro House, Afrobeats, hip-hop, and dance, sitting comfortably between the club and the after-hours. Known for relaxed delivery, sharp lyrics, and grooves that command attention without demanding it, his music explores desire, temptation, and self-assurance.
