After a whirlwind year that has seen her cement herself as one of the UK’s most electrifying new voices, Chy Cartier is back with her brand-new single, Miu Miu.
In the past 12 months alone, Chy has sold out her debut London headline show, delivered standout sets at Wireless and Recessland, and is gearing up for her Big Smoke Festival debut this Saturday. She also supported US rap star Latto on her sold-out London dates, further proving her commanding presence on stage. Beyond the music, Chy has become a style force—fronting campaigns for Burberry and Stone Island, and starring in the global Corteiz x Nike campaign alongside Kobbie Mainoo and Eduardo Camavinga.
Miu Miu follows the success of her critically acclaimed debut EP, No Bring Ins (April 2024), which spotlighted Chy’s sharp range and fearless energy. The project birthed highlights like Different Kettle, Not The One, SN (performed live on COLORS), and YO—the latter crowned Complex UK’s #1 Song of 2024. The EP also sparked a wave of high-profile support, drawing praise from Drake, Stormzy, Little Simz, Dave, Central Cee, Skepta, H.E.R., Digga D, and Lil Yachty.
Seamlessly bridging music and fashion, Chy has built a world entirely her own. Her collaborations include tracks with Headie One and Nines, joining Nines on stage at his sold-out farewell show at The O2, and walking the runway for Mowalola. Her striking visuals and bold presence have earned recognition across fashion and editorial spaces, from being handpicked by Gabriel Moses and Slawn for a special i-D zine to gracing the cover of Dazed’s New Gen issue.
