A Jewellers Unveil Custom Piece For Alec Monopoly

A Jewellers, the home of contemporary jewelry and exclusive watches at the heart of Hatton Gardens, have unveiled their latest work with a custom piece for street artist and DJ Alec Monopoly. This continues a hot streak for A Jewellers, having recently delivered works for the likes of Asake, Olaolu Slawn, and Tyrese Haliburton amongst others, demonstrating consistent, sensational craftsmanship from the luxury brand.

Making use of large gem stones consisting of pink sapphires, blue aquamarines, yellow sapphires, A Jewellers have managed to capture the essence of Alec Monopoly in the pendant. The depiction of Alec’s Monopoly Man character alongside Scrooge McDuck and Richie Rich all play into the motifs of his art. The gem stones from the pendant are also mirrored in the chain itself, making for a complete, eye-catching design.

Alec Monopoly is one of the world’s most prominent street artists, rising to fame thanks to his characterisation of the Monopoly Man as a motif throughout his work, inspired by stockbroker Bernie Madoff. His art has been purchased by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, and Seth Rogen amongst others, and Alec has also collaborated with luxury brands including Jacob & Co. and Tag Heuer.

A Jewellers have become synonymous with luxury jewellery since their inception in 2008. Their founder, Abtin Abassi, sold his first piece of jewellery at just 19, and has been changing the game ever since. The business has thus grown from solely Abtin to now spanning a multi-talented team of London’s finest jewellers, meticulously crafting custom pieces from the highest quality materials for a clientele that reads as a who’s who of the rich and famous. This work for Alec Monopoly is demonstrative of two disruptors in their respective fields joining forces to make a unique, timeless piece.
