Global pop superstar Dua Lipa has announced Dua Lipa (Live From Mexico), a brand-new live album and concert film captured during her three sold-out performances at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros on the hugely successful Radical Optimism Tour.
The concert film will premiere on May 21 on Dua Lipa’s official YouTube channel, while the live album arrives on streaming platforms on May 22 via Warner Records. Physical editions of the album are already available for pre-order ahead of their June 5 shipping date.
Recorded during the grand finale of the global Radical Optimism Tour, the project captures the scale, emotion, and energy of one of the biggest pop tours in recent years. In the trailer for the film, Dua reflects on the impact of the tour, telling fans, “This tour has been the most beautiful and fulfilling experience of my career so far. You’ve built something bigger than a show. You’ve built a family and I feel that every single night.”
One of the standout moments from the Mexico City performances was Dua’s special duet with Maná frontman Fher Olvera. Together, the pair performed the iconic 1992 hit “Oye Mi Amor,” transforming the stadium into a massive sing-along celebration. The collaboration formed part of a unique tradition throughout the Radical Optimism Tour, where Dua surprised audiences with city-specific covers and performances in local languages.
Across the tour, the singer performed in nine languages, including Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Albanian, and more, creating memorable moments tailored to each audience. The concept quickly became one of the most celebrated aspects of the tour, with critics and fans praising the performances for honoring local music cultures around the world.
The Radical Optimism Tour ultimately spanned 92 shows across five continents, selling more than 1.75 million tickets globally. Highlights included back-to-back sold-out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium and acclaimed performances across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, and Oceania.
The tour received widespread critical acclaim, with publications praising both Dua Lipa’s stage presence and the production scale of the performances. Reviewers described the trek as one of the defining pop tours of the era, applauding its musicianship, creativity, choreography, and emotional connection with fans worldwide.
